The Valais Blacknose sheep has an incredibly thick coat of wool – even on its legs! But it also needs the thick wool to keep warm, because at home in the Swiss mountains, there’s often a cold wind blowing. I wonder if it will share some of its wool for its friends to make a nice warm scarf?

The Valais blacknose sheep is so gorgeous with its white wool and classic black face. It’s not easily upset by anything and is happy to be on its home pasture no matter what the weather is like in the Swiss mountains. It can even withstand the coldest temperatures in winter. No wonder: who could freeze with that thick fur coat on?
